    I lift my cars up onto 4 jack stands to work on them. At least twice a year to do tire changeovers.

    The once or twice I did it with the Sequoia - I put all four under the frame rails, relatively close to the wheels.

    Is there a better way to do it? I've seen some photos of people using two stands on the front and one under the differencial on a Tundra, but I don't dare put that much weight on that diff.

    I'm only concerned about a couple of things with the way I dod it:

    1) The frame rails are much thicker than the Us on top of the jacks, I don't love that.
    2) I'm scratching the paint on the rails every time I do this, so in a few years there will be no paint left on those four spots.

    The crossmember in the front is strong enough to be lifted by the jack. After lifting, support the vehicle in the front by the frame rails.

    The rear jack point is literally the rear differential. After lifting, support the vehicle with jackstands in the rear frame rails.
