HP Tuners works really well in my past experiences.

Looking forward to the results, and your driving experience.

Okay, so we encountered an issue. My truck has a flex fuel engine ( I had no idea, duh). Problem is, HP tunes don't play well with flex fuel Tundras. Issue is in the ECU. HP tune can't get around the flex fuel programming without alot of work. I would have to leave it for a week. Can't afford that, so I just got the dyno. Good news is my current Bully Dog tune is performing very well. They think my performance problem might be the torque converter, so I'll have to look into that. Will post a video and the printout once they email it to me. 464hp at the wheel, they think 550hp at the crank. Torque is pretty awesome as well, just don't recall the number.

BTW, anybody know what direction to go if I want to upgrade my torque converter? Manufacturer, performance, etc. I have zero experience with this.

Yeah, just not sure which tune is on the Bully Dog. Tuner guy today said previous tuner spent easily 50-60 hours setting up my truck. Think I'm sticking with the Bully Dog.

Great point. I've been following him, I'll ask him about a torque converter.

Those are great results with the BD tune I wouldn’t change a thing as far as the tune goes. If you don’t mind me asking where in VA did you do the dyno. The place I took my Sequoia can’t fit my truck your truck fits fine on that dyno

Went to National Speed in Richmond. They are based in Wilmington NC and have a dyno there as well.

Thank you for the info I live in NOVA and had my Sequoia HP tuned locally and they did a great job but my truck doesn't fit on their Dyno. I'm not to far from Richmond so I will look them up appreciate it. You're doing really well I had similar results with my BD tune on my 2017 Supercharged Tundra. You're losing about 50HP with your wheels and tires so honestly using the Dynojet and not a dyno the bolts to your axle or putting your stock wheels and tires back on you are doing very well. IMHO just perfect, you are right at the upper end of the scale of what the engine will handle reliably with good AFR's. I would be super happy with you're results congratulations ! Sorry I have no clue about the torque converter stuff, I surprised National Speed didn't give you any guidance there.

I only have experience with Suncoast converters, but there are a lot of good companies that make quality products.

$75.00 which I thought was very reasonable.
