Hey guys, I’m in need of some quick help. I’m having a system professionally installed in 2 weeks and need help listing items needed for install.

    Truck:
    - 2015 crew max 1794 with JBL system

    Items I have or know I need/want:
    - JBL sub replacement and JBL Stadium 5 channel amp (@james@tech12volts group buy)
    - New HU. Thinking Kenwood DMX906s for wireless CarPlay. Thoughts?
    - iDatalink Maestro
    - TO2 harness
    - Scoche dash kit

What else do I need or you recommend?
    - Wiring kit? Which one?
    - Anything else?

I thought the install place was fair on labor, but overcharging for parts, so I’m bringing my own. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Bump to the top.

If the list looks complete, please let me know. I’ll be having it installed out of town so it’s important to me to have everything needed on the install day.

I would get my own amp kit (4 awg) and RCA's. Some shops charge way too much for those items. Also, make sure they flash the Maestro unit... Or you could go ahead and do that and select how you want the steering wheel controls to work.

    USB adapter https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120TOYUSB/Metra-AX-TOYUSB-USB-Port-Cable.html
Satellite radio adapter if you wanna use xm or factory nav antenna

Flash you maestro when it comes

Some sound deadening would be nice

4 awg amp wiring kit, extra RCA cables for running multiple channels. Most lots come with 1 set of RCAs

Depending on where the amp is going, you may want a 9 conductor wire to run from the amp to the area under the seat where the connections for all the speakers will be picked up. I actually have one for sale if you want. I ended up not mounting my amp where I planned so I didn't need it. It has pos+ and neg- wires for 4 speakers and also the amp remote turn on wire all wrapped in one casing, making install faster and much easier.

OP... did you install this Kenwood Excelon DMX906S? I've just picked up the same unit, accessories, powered sub from Crutchfield. Install pending.

I did not. The deal for the used amp and sub didn’t go through so I pulled the plug on the whole thing.

Still looking to buy a HU. Let me know how you like the DMX906s. I was considering it solely because of the wireless CarPlay, but I’ve read some poor reviews on the sound quality of wireless CP.

Don't underestimate the power of sound proofing. It really makes a difference. Good advice from @Pudge.

Quality reply. I try to do the same.

Install of this unit, with Maestro, Kenwood Dashcam, Audiovox camera (mounted in front) and powered sub all going in next week. I'll report back on results... but I am deaf in one ear so WTF anyway.
