I did a search and found nothing, but i'm sure i'm not the only one with this issue.

    I have a 2017 TRD O/R SR5 & an iPhone X on 14.3 firmware.

When the iPhone is connected to the head unit and I make/receive a phone call, I get a pop up message on the phone that says "this accessory is not supported by this iPhone".

Hit OK & the message clears but will sporadically pop up again. It only happens when on a phone call. Can have the phone open, playing music, playing a video ect. & no pop up as long as the phone is not on a call.

    Has anyone experienced this?
Curious if there's an update for the truck ‍♂️

I get that in my work tractor sometimes connected with the USB port to the Kenworth tractor.
I restart my iPhone X and it goes away.

But that usually happens when I first plug it in..
Not sure if that will help you or not...

BTW, you need to check your emails....:p:eek::eek2::D

Dang it, I was going to crack an email joke.

But no, no problem with my iPhone. Wonder if an update is needed on the truck side...

My Bluetooth will drop the call back to the phone only.

I haven't seen that in my truck, but when I have seen it, it has usually been a bad cable or a bad connector on either the device or the iPhone.

Same. I've got a few iPhone OEM cables, and one or two non-OEM. Anytime I've gotten this, it's been a non-OEM cable.

With that said, decent cables (e.g., Anker) shouldn't give you this issue.

Ok, I’ve had that message pop up on both my iPhone and iPad and it’s always been a bad cable. I have no idea what’s going on if it’s doing it on Bluetooth.

Definitely don't have a cable on the phone.

I updated the firmware & attempted to update the truck but it says there's no updates.

Ok I have no idea what is going on in your case. The only suggestion I can think of is to try another iPhone if you have a family member or friend who has an iPhone to see if the issue is with your phone or the head unit.

Going to try that this week & see what happens.

I've had other iPhones & Androids connected but only to charge or play music, not to make phone calls......

Ah shit, I just figured it out!

The damn android must have tainted the head unit :der:

I'll report back after making a call with another iPhone.

    Thanks all!
