Hello everyone! I need some expert advise. I have a 21 SR5 I plan on doing some boondocking out west. I’m assuming the roads may be a little rough though I don’t plan on doing anything crazy. I have a cap and a rooftop tent. I’m thinking I’ll be carrying approx 1100 lbs between the bed and the cab. I’m looking at the toytec TT Boss 207-ALM 2 to 3” lift with the diff drop and 3leaf pack for the rear. ( have I mentioned I know zero about this stuff). So I’m wondering is this overkill ? Should I be doing something different . I also pull a small dump trailer when not camping not every day. I’m also thinking 35s on new rims will they fit on a 2.5” setting ?

You might start here. There is a ton of great info in it.

I have a 3.0 lift on the front and a 1.75 lift on the back. I run 35X12.5 tires on a 17 inch wheel with zero offset. I also tow a medium dump trailer on a regular basis.

No such thing.... Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. You never know what opportunities to explore you'll come across in your travels.

    It's good
I agree 100% and therefore suggest King or Fox for COs and rear shocks. I'll leave leaf packs to those who have your truck

With the 3”In the front and 1.75” in the rear are you level? Or a bit high in the rear? I’ll take a look at the King and Fox though I’m wondering will I need the rear spring packs with the new shocks for stability when the truck is loaded? Thanks everyone!

Just keep in mind the shock options you have in the rear for [X] leaf spring you decide to go with. Unfortunately Fox/King dont have too many options for Tundras. If you want to keep more of a leveled stance, we typically have Tundra owners lift the front 2-2.5" and leave the rear stock.

We have some options for you here if you wanted to go the Fox/King direction (custom valved).
