Is there any way to track and find a 2019 Tundra TRD sport?

My Tundra was stolen from in front of the hotel I work at. It was under the canopy and locked. He opened a door on the passenger side and it never so much as flashed the lights. I later realized my husband said the keys were probably in the Tundra. And I'm pretty sure that's how they drove it away. After watching the video on the security cameras we saw what direction the truck went. But I have no idea if there's any tracking system whatsoever in it. You hear about random crime you never think it's going to happen to you. Well it can and if you're not careful it will. Even if you are careful it can and I hope it never does. But I'm just searching for any idea of how to get it back or at least appease the insurance company.

Did you file a police report?

Unfortunately that truck is gone. You can watch Facebook to see if someone tries to flip it for $5k, which is horrifyingly common.

Otherwise it's getting chopped and parted, or drove, wrecked and torched when the joy ride is over. May end up seeing it in some cool Take Over footage on Tiktok.

If you didn’t have the LoJack activated or the Toyota app then probably not.

If it was in Texas it’s probably chopped up for parts overseas or gone across the border.

Wether it’s activated or not, they can track the vehicle. It’s wether or not they will. And no, leaving the keys in is not being careful. It’s the opposite of being careful. It’s the one true safeguard a vehicle has. A vehicle is much harder to steal without the key, but not impossible.

Sorry that happened but it is likely gone for good.

How was the truck locked with the keys inside?

Just hope it was a joy ride and ditched it somewhere. Probably not.
