I did a search, but couldn’t find an answer for my first question here.

1. how do I enable the backup camera w/o putting it in reverse? I’m in a SR5 TRD Sport package and convenience package. I have a camera for reverse, but I want to see it w/o actually having to shift in reverse. I do not see a switch for this like it shows in the manual.

2. how do I set my fob settings so it automatically locks the doors when I walk away? Please tell me I can do this. I didn’t see this option in the entertainment center options.

 

1. if you dont have pvm i dont think you can do anything
2. toyota has never had walk away locking feature ever on any model

 

Really? My dealer said it’s in one of the settings and they would help me set it so that it would lock after 30 seconds.

 

It will lock after 30 seconds if you don’t open the doors after unlocking the truck, you still need to physically touch the handle to lock it after exit. You need off road package or the 14” screen and you can turn the rear camera on anytime, it’s really great.
