I own a 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport with 20" OEM alloy wheels for Winter and a set of 18" Methods (no TPMS sensors installed) for Summer tires.
I also own a set of OEM alloy wheels from a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off-road. I would like to remove the TPMS sensors from the 2022 wheels for use in the Method wheels.

I have 2 questions: Are the 2022 Tacoma sensors compatible with the 2018 Tundra system? Secondly, is the 2018 Tundra able register all 8 wheels so I don't have to visit a dealer every season change?

I am specifically asking if there is a Toyota Tech here who can answer, as I am getting conflicting answers between the 2 Toyota service departments that I called. As I search through here, I am also finding conflicting answers.

No. They will not be compatible. Not even remotely the same system.
