If I look at the sight lines of my hood in relation to the "mustache" top and headlights, it appears it is bent down on the passenger side. Let it go you say? Never. Is there a way to adjust the hood, or would it require force?

I know, I know! I'm at work and this has been on my mind, so the post was impulsive. Let me run to the parking garage real quick...hold that thought, but don't go far if you have thoughts...

Welp, this was a waste of time for other reasons. Apparently, there are adjustable bumps under the hood :anonymous:

My hood fit closer on the passenger side than the driver side. There is a adjuster / height setting rubber knob on each side at the front where the hood rests. And the metal brackets that hold the mustache in place can be slightly adjusted but not by much. I messed with all the above and got mine adjusted to the point it no longer made my OCD mind obsessed with the fraction of difference between the two sides.

Sounds like you’re my kind of people. I think I squared mine up with just a few rotations.

Isn’t the hood, the entire front cop on the these things are just snap together plastic parts with about a dozen real bolts holding the puzzle on the truck. Got this education a few days back hitting a deer, plastic flew everywhere and most just popped back on. Do a YouTube crawl you’ll see it quick. Things can be adjusted a bit to square it all up somewhat.

Adjustment is easy, I just wish my hood wouldn't move (flex) in the center on the interstate. The little movement is irritating.

Mostly just wanting the @EC1 mustache cover to look good on there! Just pulled the trigger.

Yah, between that and the whole getting blind by it thing has me thinking they didn’t put a ton of thought into the design.
