Last night I went to get takeout from a restaurant that had a walk-up window. My young kids were asleep in their car seats and it was pitch black outside, so I figured I'm only walking 50' away, let me leave my truck running with the heat on and just lock the doors for the 5 mins I'll be standing over there. It didn't work with the key and it didn't work with hitting the Lock button on the door either.

Is there a way around this I'm missing? Or is this just not an option? Thanks for reading.
