Is anyone else in both the Tundra and trucking worlds?

    Hey everyone,
Before I became a 2013 Tundra owner, I spent years driving long hauls in my semi-truck. One thing I’ve always was struggled with is finding safe places to stop for breaks or overnight stays.

Lately, I’ve been using Trucker Guide to find rest areas and parking spots along my route. It’s been a huge help. On my last trip, it pointed me to a quiet rest station in Minnesota with plenty of space to park overnight, access to picnic tables, vending machines, and other options. Sometimes, I 'm checking their traffic cameras to see the current road and weather conditions. If you’re into long-haul driving, it might be worth checking out. Just sharing what’s worked for me!

How do you plan your stops during long trips? Any go-to apps or tips? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I'm not a trucker, but I bought a semi, "Tiny", about a year ago to use as towing duty! I absolutely love it, it's so much fun and so cool to drive. Gave me a big appreciation for semis and is fun to look at all the configurations out there. I haven't had to stay at a truck stop (yet) since we usually take it out camping, but I'll have to check that website out since I'm sure it'll happen at some point! I'm lucky that there's lots of truck stops near where I live so I only have to fill up there and then set for the whole trip since everything has been <1500 miles I've done so far. Post what your semi looks like!
