iPhone Sound Check

Not sure if this has been discussed or not,

I have a ‘21 Platinum with the JBL Sound. As you all know, the JBL is not known for blowing the doors off the truck. I was more than happy with the sound with the exception of the Bluetooth or CarPlay. When I would stream with Bluetooth or CarPlay, the sound was just not there, even with the volume all the way up.

Long story short, on your iPhone, go into settings, music and turn off Sound Check.

Took me a bit of experimenting to figure it out…..not sure if the default is on, but it was on my phone.

Sound quality is much better now that this is off.

Just thought I would share.
