Hey guys, new to the forum.. but following for the past year with a new to me 2017 Limited (90k). It's mostly personal but does see work in the swamps and has occasional long-mile heavy hauling.

New plugs and swapped all fluids myself (thank you to the forum folks), save powering steering and brakes (soon to be done).

I recently had the front right blinker bulb go out while grabbing rock. Quick swap in the lot and all good. Well, numerous times now, I get the fast blinker audible.... cut and re-crank the truck and all is fine. It's fixed itself during a drive, as well. Aside from just un/re-plug all connections, any ideas?

I have not yet done the headlight upgrade and need to reach out to the X harness guy. The correct part is the 211 version, right? Any reason to bother with the blinker before just swapping out?

Thank you guys... I'm use to small motors, but never was a truck dude until now.

Obligatory "Did you check the blinker fluid?" post.

That is a sign there is not enough resistance in the bulb, is it an OEM? LED?

I had a similar issue on my 14. To the point that I kept extra bulbs to change out.

    Turns out, I'm a tard.

I finally put some dielectric grease in the socket, and low and behold, the bulb actually seated to the proper depth, and I've not had an issue since 2019.

Basically, make sure you are seating the bulb properly. I know this sounds like a "duh" kind of action, but it solved my issue. Tundras just have tight sockets.
