I am a massive moron. As I was replacing the bulbs in my courtesy lights, I managed to slip out a metal piece keeping the light housing in place and it fell into the door. Is there any way I can replace the housing or that piece so it fits nice and firm? I’ve not been able to find any parts matching it’s description for my year

Why not just take the door panel off and retrieve the metal clip?

I’ve been considering that, but I’m hugely inexperienced and don’t want to risk further screwing something up

Or stick a magnet probe down in there and fish it out.

Often times, this is the best way to learn.
