Interchangeable grill

Hey y’all

I’ve got a 2021 limited. I’m looking to swap out the god awful chrome grille insert.
Anyone know if I can pull a grill from another year and use that? Or is there something special about my year where I cant cherry pick other years ?

 

I have a 2020 Limited. I replaced the chrome hood bulge with a factory painted one, then bought the Platinum grill also factory color matched. The main thing you need to watch is the TSS sensor mounting is compatable to your truck, mine is the latest arrangment as I'm sure yours is also.

Edit: I belive the latest TSS mounting change took place in the 2020 model year, my truck was built February 2020 and has the newer mount.

 

keep in mind that the 2018 and newer have the TSS, so there will be that. 2014-2017 will fit, but wont' have the accommodation for the TSS sensors. and obviously the 3rd gen 2022 and up won't fit.
