Does the limited trim level have more insulation to keep out road noise than the lower level trims?

Also do the 2007-2013 have the same amount of road noise as the 2014+?

I have a 2007 Tundra SR-5 and it is very quite compared to my previous 2002 Ford F-150. Tires have a lot to do with it too. I rarely go off road and I spend a lot of time on the interstate, so I went with a performance rated SUV tire.

Check out the website sound deadening showdown. Tons of good info there.
I have my truck about 75% complete. Need to do the front floors and firewall then I'm done unless I decide to do the roof some day.
Also would be nice to somehow do the wheelwells with some kind of rubber spray
Mass is what kills sound so you needs lots of mass covering everything to kill road noise.

I used CLD tiles (aka dynamat), closed cell foam, mass loaded vinyl (MLV-this is the main sound blocking item), some reflective insulation, and a few other materials. The biggest difference was when I did the back wall and front doors.

Ok. I appreciate the help but nobody actually answered my questions. I should have titled the thread differently.

My guess would be there is no difference in insulation based on trim level. I owned a 2013 crew max for 4 years and now a 2018 for a year. No change in road noise for me. Both trucks had the 20" TSS wheels with BFG's on them.

They are all insulated the same from the factory. With the exception of maybe the SR tubdra grade model. But idk that for sure.
