    Hello,

I'm new to this, but would greatly appreciate any help or insight that could be provided. I have a 2022 Tundra SR that did not come with a factory tow hitch. Recently purchased a Curt hitch/receiver (https://www.curtmfg.com/part/14022). The instructions seem straight forward which is why I opted to install myself rather than taking to a shop. Where I'm getting stuck is after the bolts are removed from the frame, I attempt to place the hitch up to attach but I continuously hit the part of the bumper that attaches to the same area and I'm not able to slide the hitch up to attach to the frame. I am attempting to do this by myself but more than likely looking to add another individual to help out. Again, any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had no idea that any of them came without one anymore, I thought tow package was standard equipment on all Tundras for the last decade or so.

Do you have or know someone that has a floor jack?

That would support the weight for you and make it much easier to get/keep it into position while you bolt it up.
