Installed TRD front and rear sway bars on my almost new 2020 stock platinum

I just wanna share my review on the TRD front and rear sway bars. I see alot of threads and youtube reviews but they missed 1 very important point. I got a stock 2020 platinum with stock 20" wheels and tires with less than 4k miles on the odo. I really didnt like how the nose dive like a boat when turning. Also i didnt like the jittery nose heavy stock suspension feel on normal roads. I was planning to upgrade the suspension since all after market susp are rather cheap. Install was rather simple. Just watch those helpful youtube videos and anyone can do it. Even the shop guys watched it before helping me install them. The result was surprising. The car feels flatter when turning like everyone said with a not so satisfying face. Watch those guys on youtube that just added the bars....they all have that i cant believe this didnt make my truck turn like a supra look:) .....joking aside the most surpring improvement is that it made the ride much more comfortable....by almost 99%.... the bouncy jittery nose heavy suspension feel is 99% gone. It ride very tip toe smooth and comfortable on any normal roads now. If you have a stock suspension this is a must upgrade i think. Its almost like its was designed with them on and they took them out for cost saving.

There ya go. A top 3 mod for sure.

Now.......lets get that rear differential breather extended up where it can never ever suck in water.

Nice... What kind of price tag is associated with both the front and rear?

Totally changes the steering feel and on road manners. I recommend front and both.

I kind of like the sway and nose dive. I like the reminder it’s not a tird gen every time I drive it. I like the old school feel and don’t want it to drive like a nascar

You happen to have that link to share? At that price with all the included hardware for the rear, I'd be down. But my eBay searches are coming up empty for anything used.

Just got me both front and rear sway bars. Wandering if you used any grease on the front rubber bushings? Thanks

I installed both as well, I know it kind of defeats the purpose of the Pro suspension but in my opinion the rear bar helps when I’m hauling stuff and the front bar definitely gets rid of the all over the place feel. The truck just feels more stable now. A must do mod IMHO

Thanks for your review. I installed the rear two years ago and it made a difference in overall control. But I shied away from the front as it seemed there were as many negative reviews for the front as there were positive. Your write-up somewhat defines exactly what I am hoping for.

Depends on the suspension you're running. Bilstein 4600, 5100, 6112 & 5160 combos? These are known to only see improvements, same as the Fox / TRD Pro shocks he mentioned!

I installed both and the truck handles so much better. My ride quality didn't suffer, feels much more controlled and responsive, and not as floaty. The suspension affects ride quality the most along with tires. Sway bars is for the back and forth and swaying of the vehicle on turns or exit/on ramps of interstates, etc. unless people are constantly swerving back and forth as they drive, I really don't see how the sway bars affected a noticeable difference in the ride quality, seriously I really don't. I do have 18" wheels and not 20"'s where I have heard others say there is a difference in ride quality and I guess I can see that. My 2014 DC had 20"'s so I can say there was some but I also put BF KO2 which is much stiffer than the original BF mudders that came with it. I only installed the rear sway on my 2014 DC and a huge difference doing both on my 2020 CM. I don't off road so I don't need the articulation others want and need. Now I'm not an automotive engineer but have done some research before I installed them. I like them and glad I did it. I cant wait to put on 6112/5160's.

These do nothing for the ride really, they only work when you're turning or rolling the vehicle from side to side. The review was for use with stock suspension which you do not have. I suspect your ride complaints are with you aftermarket suspension.

I've got a parts list hanging out in my Amazon basket, it looks extremely easy to do! I'll see if I can suss out a YouTube video somewhere as well. It's pretty straightforward though, the hose runs down from behind the tail light to the breather connection point, couple of hose clamps, done and done under $30.
