I've had my 2021 1794 Edition for about two months now and I desperately needed somewhere to store all of my gear.

Previous rig was a 5th gen 4Runner and I had a pretty large cargo box in the back that worked OK. But it was overflowing and I didn't like the idea of it being in the back with my dog and becoming unsecured during accident avoidance or a collision and crushing him.

I saw the Decked system advertised and thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Made in Idaho and no negative reviews. Went to order one and got sticker shock; $1500??

But, I got a military discount and some extra tool boxes thrown in and I got it out the door for $1400 with tax and delivered. Still, that's a chunk of change. I have a front winch bumper I wanted that was $1500, but I figured this was needed much more than the bumper for now.

Delivery was fast, it arrived in perfect condition, and the assembly was somewhat straight forward.

I had to watch a couple of extra videos on YouTube to get the handle installed, and to figure out when you actually put it in the pickup. It was hot and humid, and I still got it done in about 3 hours.

It works perfectly and the only issues I had were getting the tie-down bolts out due to the bed lining, and I had to trim where the bed lights were. Not sure if the bed lights were OEM or not, but they were in the way. Used a coping saw and made it work.

Overall, very happy with the quality of the product. The concept is brilliant and is perfect for my application and use.

I got that same sticker shock with mine. Ended up picking up a used older style, doesn’t have the “T” slots, for $300.

Great setup for anyone wanting to store and organize equipment, keep it water proof, and secure! Probably worth the $1500, but I can be cheap sometimes.

Looks great. Maybe one of these days I’ll stop being so cheap.
