Where would I find a local place at a reasonable price in San Antonio area to install a replacement grill on my 2020 SR5 CrewMax Tundra. Getting rid of the chrome. I have the replacement grill. Would do myself but don’t want to mess up the sensor placement.

    Welcome from NY.

You can do it yourself, very easy to do. You cannot mess up the sensor.

Unplug the wire, pull the grille off, attach new sensor, put new grille on then reconnect the the plug.

    You can do this!

It is very easy, just take your time. Also, set up a blanket in your bed as a work area for swapping the sensor.

So the issue is in breaking the plastic pins for the press washer when removing the sensor from the old grill. Take a screw driver and bump the press washer from the edge. This will slightly bend it allowing you to slide it off. Use a hammer to flatten it back out for reapplication on the new grill.

Or if he doesn't care about the old grille he can just cut the tab on the old grille for easy take off.

If you’re replacing just the grill and not the surround too, it can be a bit tedious. Just take your time with the clips, once you have it done you’ll probably feel a bit silly that you almost paid someone to do the same thing. Lots of YouTube videos to help out too.

    Good Luck!
