Had my wheel bearing done 10K ago and it has gone bad again. I can see through the abs sensor that there was gear oil on the abs ring. Just this month, I had new wheel bearing pressed on and the seal is riding correctly. Made sure to check the inner seal seated correctly too. Drove it about 100 miles and Just Checked the abs ring and I can see gear oil on it again. So I pulled out the seal. My housing seemed to have a small notch right where the seal sits. Is this the cause of the leak? How do you fix this? Do I need a new housing? The other side of the housing doesn't have this notch. Thanks for any input.
