Great site and I have already found some useful information. I love this truck, and have had almost zero problems in the 16 years I've had it. However.. my 2003 4x4 now pulls to the right when I engage the Hi 4x4 button. This is the first time in 16 years. There is also, what I would consider a low noticeable hum while driving in 4 wheel, that is non-existent in 2 wheel drive. Returning to 2 wheel drive often incurs a large clunk and jolt. I read a few things on line but I figured this to be the best place to get an accurate idea. Thanks!

Thanks, I have about 135K on it and have kept up most usual maintenance pretty much as I should. However I don't think the front diff oil has been replaced in some time. I will do that and see what transpires. Hope that's it. I don't use the 4 wheel much as I don't off road. Most driving is highway, with 4x4 usually winter time and limited.

I appreciate the advice, I used to do that but got out of the habit the last couple of years. I am getting the front diff oil replaced tomorrow.

Welcome from CO. Yep...get that front diff checked out. Hopefully nothing too serious.
