Lose most of it to taxes, buy an MR2, put a built blown northstar in it, and invest the rest.

Probably thousands of things, but staying anonymous is at the top. I inevitably would blow an ungodly amount of my F*^% You money trying to change things I don’t agree with.
    -Invest for the family
    -Hire lawyers
-Hire lawyers to sue the lawyers that stole my money.
-Rebuild the Little league field and HS baseball fields near me.
-Make our Bike Park world class.
-Buy a smaller house with a bigger garage that’s heated/Ac for Cars/gym/sauna/cold plunge/a few recliners
    -Take some fishing trips

-try to figure out how to setup those I love and give the rest away.

I have wants but I have very few needs.

I’d take the cash so about $1B.

$100m in stocks. Apple, Tesla, Amazon, etc.
    $100m in land
    $100m in houses
    $100m to family members
    $100m to charity
    $50m to friends
$50m on cars, motorcycles, and toys
    $50m on planes and helicopter
    $20k in flight lessons
    $5m on flight to space
$100 gift certificate to 4 Wheel Parts for every forum member.

Put the rest in the bank for a rainy day. My only major dilemma would be whether to spend $100m on a yacht or not. And yes, I know I already blew most of my money but idgaf.

    What would I do?

    - Immediate family wouldn’t have to worry about much anymore.

    - Gold star families that I know would be taken care of.

    - I have a short list of friends that wouldn’t need to worry about much else either. Most of them are retired veterans.

    - Start a foundation for Veterans/first responders.

    - Own some brands I believe in.

    - Own a pretty good sizable plot of land for fun. Road racing track, rock crawling, SxS trails..etc.

The rest would be invested and change my family forever.

keep quiet, finish projects, build dream house with attached shop on 100+ acres. then deal with family and those closest to me and help them out a little... then work on business to make more money.

Riley childrens hospital would also get a large donation for Christmas. family has donated every year for 30 years. i would do one large one this year.

    Some.
I'd pay off all my, my parents, and my sisters bills. I'd also pay off all the bills of one of my buddies and set up a trust to put his kids through college.
I'd buy my parents whatever lot of land they wanted and set up a fund for them to build whatever house they wanted and get my mom a new car.
I'd pay to have my truck upgraded, reinforced, and turned into a dually.
I'd buy a 240+ acre lot with trees and build my dream shop and house (notice shop comes first).
I would then set up the rest in investments and savings with a monthly allowance for myself.
Maybe find the woman of my dreams and give her an allowance to make me the man of hers.

I would also tell all the craptastic remainder of my family and "friends" to kindly F off.

Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton would get a very large anonymous donation, as would STARS air ambulance.

My family and close friends would be set for a good long while if not life. I'd buy myself US citizenship through investment, and spend winters in Florida and Texas with my summers and fall being spent in Alaska and Idaho or Wyoming. I'd also travel the world fishing, hunting, and doing adventure tourism.

Lots of random philanthropic shenanigans too and of course a good chunk will be in safe investments so we never go broke.

I might seem crazy but I'd probably sling beers a few nights a week at my favorite brewery just for fun. I need a little social interaction and I hate sitting around.

I might also do unusual things like Bill Murray to see what I can get away with. Steal a fry off someone's plate and then apologize and give them $100.

Probably have a heart attack on the spot. Barring that, try to stay as invisible as possible, which would require relocation...likely to somewhere warm year round. Once settled, lock down financial security for myself, my daughter and a couple of my best friends through trusts etc. Then, start giving money away to various charities for children, the military, and first responders.

Purchase thermals and night vision for a few PDs, move, build a big building and fill it with a few vehicles, open a foundation and pay some kid’s tuition, purchase a couple boats and hire a friend to run them, have an open tab at a grocery store where people can go get groceries for free if they need too. And a bunch of other things like invest a crap load of it too, the list just goes on!!:)

plus at the beginning hire an attorney and invest in some government insured bonds also hire an investment firm that does not charge me enormous fees, we have one of them already. Try to be smart about it. Luckily are families are small so we wouldn’t have a bunch of people wanting cash. We don’t drink or do drugs so we are safe there. Try to be hands on and make sure we have money coming in for the rest of our lives.

A significant portion of my Matchbox/Hot Wheels truck collection will probably be turned into real trucks. :)

But also, I hate seeing children suffer (sickness, poor, hungry etc.) so the majority will go towards that, after I have a trust set up to take care of my family's modest retirement.
