I idle a lot since I am usually sitting in my truck as I drive from job to job. The tundra is kind of my mobile office. Is there any additional maintenance I should be doing since my truck idles for a few hours a day? More frequent oil changes?

I would definitely think more frequent oil changes. When you’re idling I would also think giving it a little rev now and again would be wise as well. Maybe someone else will chime in with some better suggestions.

If you are in a hot climate I’d suggest 3m ceramic/crystalline tint all around. Dramatic reduction in UV inside the vehicle. Makes it easier on your AC. If you are doing a lot of computer work you may think about the power inverter / onboard router mod someone posted earlier today. Also a laptop/mobile desk mount. I think the ones my old company used were called Gorilla Mounts or something like that. I’ll see what I can find out.

Edit: found the inverter post: https://www.tundras.com/threads/power-outlet-installation.32622/#post-809438

Laptop Mount: not Gorilla, it was Ram Mount: https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-VB-196-SW1
