As the title states, I’m on a strict budget per the wife’s orders, so this will be a slow and unimpressive build, BUT nonetheless, I’d like to document my progress.

A little background: I’ve always been a diy car fanatic. I enjoy working on small projects (never been into the transmission or engine internals). I’m a big fan of lighting, suspension, audio, and cosmetic projects that just give my vehicles the slightest edge over stock.

As far as tundras go, I’ve had the 1st gen (2001 Limited), the 2.5 gen (2014 limited, and now in celebration of purchasing my 50th vehicle, my first ever NEW car, the 2024 Limited.

This will also be my first time as a member of a forum, so forgive me as I learn the ways of the forum gods.

    On to the “build”

I bought the 2024 Crewmax 4x4 Limited in Ice Cap white for $61,500 on 12/14/23. Included in the deal was a RC Level, which I’ll consider the first mod.

    Master List:

-RC 1.75” Level (included with purchase)

    -20% tint front driver and passenger/ 40% windshield/ 5% eyebrow ($500)

    -Carista OBD2 ($40)(deleted V8 sound)

    -1794 grill and mustache ($200)

    -weather tech floor mats ($300)

-Gun mount on steering column ($15)

    -Tundra front license plate ($10)

-Raptor Lights and white LED accent lights ($60)

-LED footwell lighting, front and back/ footwell mood lighting while driving ($40)

    -Black tailgate letter inserts ($40)

    -Trifold hardtop bedcover ($500)

-24” snowflakes with 35x12.50 Mud tires/ Venum wheels 1” huh bore adapter ($3,000)

    -front bumper chrome lettering ($20)

-storage tray in phone charging bay ($15)

    RUNNING TOTAL: $4,740

Added the bed cover and wheels today. Toptiny trifold bedcover came off Amazon. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with were the adapters for the utility rail in the bed. Other than that, can’t complain for the money. The wheels and tire package was a Facebook Marketplace place deal. I wanted snowflakes, but the hub bore is a lot smaller on Chevy. I used “Venum Wheels” and customer ordered a hub bore adapter from 95mm hub bore to 77.8 wheel bore. 1” was the thinnest they offered. Wheels are +20 offset, so with the 1” spacer, it sits -5.4 small rub in the felt at the back of the front wheel well, but I plan to zip tie it back the poke is a little strong, but will add bushwacker fender flares to line it up IMG_3732.jpg IMG_3733.jpg IMG_3731.jpg
