I wonder if this would be possible: An "Ask The Mechanic Forum"?

In my view to have a Tundra Ask The Mechanic Forum instead of an "Ask The Mechanic" thread would make it a lot easier for both the posters and the mechanics (other posters) to communicate with each other. As it is now a myriad of malfunctions are posted in the "Ask The Mechanic" thread, so the responders, mechanics or not, have to sift through all the questions and answers until they find their individual posts.

You if it would be an "Ask The Mechanic Forum", then one would rapidly scroll up/down to the posts one has created, and at the same time one could scroll up/down to the mechanical problems other posters are having. But all the answers and questions bunched together in one thread requires for one to scroll through until one finds one's individual post.

I mean, this is basically how the forum functions. You either create a thread for a specific issue and have a title that is logical and searchable, or folks just pile on the the generic threads (or turn threads generic by not using the forum correctly) and make them harder to skim. You can still search the forum for keywords and work backwards, but I do agree that there could be added efficiency but this is also a free forum, so you get what happens with anything that is open the the public. The mods do what they can but this is something they do in their free time and it really isn't their job to fully restructure the entire site.

And if you come looking for answers to an issue that has been addressed before, you don't even have to post a new thread.
