I thought all of us had the same wheelbase.

I thought I knew something about these trucks after driving them for 20 years, but I pulled up to a 2015-2020 Tundra extra-cab today and saw a huge difference in wheelbase.

    I measured my 2015 CrewMax w/ 5.5' bed: 146" w.b.
    The extra-cab/Access-cab mystery truck w/ 8' bed: 166" w.b.

That's a lot of extra mass to drive around!

Yes it is, the 8’ bed makes it a real work truck, not a mall cruiser.
