Hi everybody new to this forum . Proud owner of a 2006 TundraSR5 TRD 4.7 V8 offroad. double cab
Before I get to my questions a bit of back ground info on my truck
I recently was given a Tundra 2006 SR double cab from my brother with 247000 kilometers on it Its in decent shape no rust except the frame had a few rust holes in it . The recall on that particular year frame had expired when I got it. I had the frame welded and restored .
Removed and replaced steering gear complete , replaced steering column flex coupling lower ,rack and pinion assembly, power steering hose ,replaced outer outer tie rod ends , ball joints , new tires all around and wheel alignment and complete brake job .
Replace rusted tranny lines ,timing belt and water pump ,spark plugs , batterie oil change and undercoated with corrosion free product .
So far up to $7000 in repairs .

ok now for my questions , I have read the owners manual and a bit confused on how the VSC and Traction Control ,and Auto LSD works on this vehicle. The manual states the indicator lights should come on when the key is turned on if not the vehicle should be brought in to the dealer .All I see when turning the ignition is the light for abs , check engine.. but nothing else Is this a concern? I am thinking if I bring it in there goes a lot more money..
I tried spinning the tires in a gravel parking lot in 4 Hi and all four wheel s grabbed all good there .
In 2 wheel drive both back wheels spin when stepping on the gas . Does this truck have posi traction differential ? Will rear tires wear out prematurely ?
Other than the and the clock not working the truck runs great , smooth and quiet .
Any info would be appreciated or suggestions as to what other maintenance I should be looking into ? i an planning on keeping it for as long as i can . I wont be putting much mileage on it as I have a 2022 Venza for most of my big mileage , I will be using the Tundra just to go to my cottage which is only 25 kilometers away and going for runs to lumber yard and such.
Do i need to address the problems with the indicator lights on going on the dash and spend more money ?
