    I see now. When you add them to your cart they come with mounting brackets

    I am pretty sure that would need a bracket. Tech12volts has a nice group buy on speakers going on that I and a bunch of ppl bought. What trim package do you have?

    I assume not the premium (shittty) JBL upgrade system. Ping James...the brackets he sent in mine will definitely hold up over time. dude has his shit right and will help you get the system you want. If you wanted to stay with 6x9 (which i probably would in your case) he can steer you to a good sounding pair.

    BTW I do have the shitty upgraded system and the stuff he sent to replace it sounds awesome.

    Some stuff
    get the mounting adapters from tech12volts. they're MDF and way more solid than the crappy plastic ones crutchfield will send you. 6.5 will fit on the front door with the adapters.
