I have an idea I am trying out and need to find a fuse or wire that is hot when the alarm is armed. Yes, this is the lazy approach, asking others when I can scour the fuse box and find one through trial and error.

Man I was hoping you would have gotten an answer. I am looking to install several lights and need to find a constant hot preferably in the fuse box.

    It's good
Things that turn on when the truck is off, headlights, cabin/dome/map lights, horn - maybe look with those in mind.

For additional lights, the battery is always hot and you probably want to run new wires anyway for the load.

I find a wire from my Karr security system that is an active ground when the alarm is armed that will meet my needs.

I recall there is a constant hot wire in the fuse box, I will check and post here.
