I know about the step, but what about a ladder?

I neglected to have the bed step added when I bought my truck and was going to toss one one but I got to thinking about it...
Anyone here ever install one of those tailgate ladders on a Tundra?

Like an integrated one? I don't think I've seen one 3rd party.

    Thoughts? Feedback? Installation tips?
Just looks like a better option to me than the step

One tip is to assemble the base and steps first. Then place it where it clears the metal support rope. Take some duct tape and secure it and swing the steps out to make sure it clears the support. Also I put mine on the passenger side not drivers. Someone mentioned that if you are pulled off a road adjusting a load the passenger side is the safest place to be. I can take pictures tomorrow if you would like.

Screenshot_20231024_182001_Gallery.jpg I like the Ford type as it worked great and a ladder ramp. Got to high as I got older and I feared if I slipped and got my leg trapped.... happy with the tindra set up now.
Pretty cool the one you guys are showing though!

I’ve never been interested in a step as I can hop up pretty easily. However, this step ladder pictured is slick! I just might get one.

Just keep in mind the self tapping screws they provide are junk. Go to Ace or Home Depot and get some that actually work.

I had the original Traxion ladder on my 2014 Tundra. I liked it so much I'm installing the HD version on my 2023 Tundra.

The bed step doesn't cut it with me. It's too low to the ground and too far from step to the tailgate. A nice idea but.....
