Hey, I’m a new member, thanks for the add. While I’m new to this forum, not new to Tundra trucks. Since 2005 I’ve leased 5. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving them, not one serious issue. After my last lease I didn’t renew, too expensive! It’s been a year now and I miss having a Tundra. I now have an opportunity to buy a a nice looking 2010 Limited Crewmax, but the high mileage, 202k, scares me. I would appreciate any advice or counsel. Should I run away from the high mileage? If I do buy it, what maintenance items or parts should I be sure to check on? Prices are all over the map, any thoughts?

    Thanks much!

The mileage shouldn't scare you so long as you know the maintenance history. What's the price? That's the real question here.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I 2nd ^^^. If there are maintenance records showing it has been properly maintained, 200k miles is just getting broken in.

202k ain't crap if cared for. You didn't note in your profile so just a blanket HEADS UP: watch for rust up north; watch for flood damage if in the south (a LOT of floods in 2015/2016). Though trucks move around a lot so check both.

It’s all about service records…..and also look at frame for rust.
