    I searched, I really did.

I found zero threads on this issue.

    2014 1794 4x4 56k miles.

Drivers seat rocks, not slides, rocks 1/4 - 1/2in every time I accelerate or brake. REALLY annoying the crap out of me.

I have looked under the seat, and tried to move it by hand when not sitting in it and I can't really replicate the movement or see anything amiss.

Does anyone have experience with this issue that can point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance to the best Tundra forum people on earth!

Mine did that.. After I pulled it out and put it back in to install a stereo it quit? Bolts were tight beforehand so I can’t say for sure what it was but it’s gone now! 2013 RWDC

Obviously sounds like a loose bolt. Can you see all 4 of the nuts are tightened at the floor? The other thing you might check is the slide where it attached to the frame of the seat. I had a car, after an accident, the driver seat wobbled like that, it was because a seat frame weld broke it was a fun drive home. They totaled the car so I never got it fixed.

Thank you for the suggestions everyone.

Nothing is visibly loose, especially not the 4 main floor bolts.

There is no popping or resistance, it just smoothly rocks back and forth.

Guess I will have the wife (100lbs less than me) or someone, sit in it and rock it while I look under. If that doesn't show me something then it will have to come out for a thorough look over but that won't be fun lol.

I will let yall know what I find when I get a chance to look at it, maybe this weekend.

It doesn't take long to unbolt the seat and check that it's positioned in the mounts correctly. Taking the covers off the back legs is probably the most tedious, but a pair of linesman's pliers on the clip will help you push those out.

You probably have done this... but have someone sit and see if the back of the seat rocks separate from the base. Maybe some internal framing is loose or broken. You know, Like if someone sitting in back seat pushes the seat back with their feet... been known to happen.

If it is just the back rocking then I dont think your fixing that. If your talking the whole seat, then yea pull it out and have a good look. Are the track to seat bolts tight, or is the locking Claw worn out or mising a spring or something.
