I just got my Tundra back from the body shop and noticed that one of my doors wouldn't lock. When I'd hit the key fob, all the doors plus the tailgate would lock twice, no beep, but the passenger front door wouldn't. I also couldn't do it manually by pressing on the actual mechanism on the door panel. I took the door panel off and noticed the bottom cable, green in this youtube video photo I screenshotted, had escaped from its slot. I reseated it into its slot and all is well again!

I am just posting in the hopes it'll help someone in the future. I spent 30 minutes googling with no luck before I decided to remove the panel. Screenshot_20210910-192037_YouTube.jpg

I wonder if this is the issue my wife's Corolla is having. Her driver's door occasionally won't lock and unlock with the fob or the button on the door.

    Pretty things
    Nice.

I still need to tear off my driver's panel to see if there is something similar happening in there.

I've had an inop door lock since I bought the truck. Kinda ridiculous considering how many different systems I've torn into already.

Maybe this weekend will be the weekend

...now that I think about it, I even picked up some replacement door panel clips with the WS ATF several weeks ago.
