Thinking of swapping out my Weathertech rear liner for a Husky. Can anyone confirm how durable the Husky REAR crew cab liner is compared to the Weathertech? Is the Husky more of a rubber material vs. hard plastic?

What does a spray in bed liner have to do with the rear crew cab floor mats?

I have the Husky liners front and back and they are definitely a more pliable rubber compared to the weathertech liner we have in our suv. I prefer the Husky material but wish it went further back under the seat.

Thanks, does the larger Husky rear not cover the same area as the Weathertech? Looking at the pic on the website, it looks like it covers under the seat like the Weathertech. With 2 big dogs jumping in/out, I just need something durable and that won’t slide around.

I have the Husky front and rear floor liner in my CM. Much better quality than Weathertech and thicker material. Very pleased. I didn't think much of the Weathertechs I had.

I have Husky's in the front and rear. In my double cab the rear liner covers the floor boards and under the rear seats, not sure how the crew cabs compare. In my experience sand likes to really to stick to the weathertech rubber for some reason, even when washing with a hose. Husky's don't seem to have this problem. I'm happy with Husky

The husky rears for a crewmax will extend under the seats to the seat mounts. That's only the full coverage version though, the non full coverage doesn't go under the seats.

Another vote for husky. The weathertechs hard plastic type mat has its place, but I much prefer the pliable Huskys. On my 3rd set since being diehard weathertech. The husky stays put better, wears as well, and has more of an OEM look in my opinion.

I’ve been running the Husky mats in my last few trucks. My only complaint is I wear boots and my heal will wear a hole through the driver’s mat in about 20k miles of driving. I never had that issue with Weathertechs which I had run for many years previously.

Thanks for the input, looks like I'll be swapping out the rear Weathertech w/the Husky, maybe I'll also swap the fronts as well. Seems Weathertech has the better rear floor coverage (going further under the seats), but the Husky is more durable...it would be nice to actually find a rear mat that has both of these features!

Husky offers two options for the rear of the crew max. One covers the footwell area while the other protects up under the rear seat as well. You could always double them up for ultimate protection. You can do the same with other products to reduce the chance of pregnancy

I was a loyal Weathertech user for my first four Tundra's. But after trying the Husky X-Act Contour in the front and rear I won't go back. My complaint about the Weathertech was that it warped around the door on driver and passenger sides and never would lay completely flat. In short go with the Husky.

That's the same one I have. My front and rear husky liners were originally bought for my 2017, and now reside in my 2020.
I carry my dog in that back of the cab all the time, it works great. I had some small older rubber mats that I have used in the rear passenger side footwell to level it out so my dog's box sets back there nice and level.

My biggest gripe about the Weathertechs in that they warp in the heat (big issue here in AZ) and the passenger side does not have any cleats to hold it in place. So it slides all around because its a smooth bottom. Converted to the Husky X-Act Contour. Same perfect fitment as the Weathertech but instead of a hard plastic, it is a molded rubber. Husky gets my vote every time.

Husky X-act liners FTW! I tried the Smartliner (cheaper) and just didn’t fit right and was hard plastic like WeatherTechs. Returned it for the Husky which has a great fit, full rear coverage on the DC and softer rubber.

The Eagle Klaw on the back mat is a good idea. I have them on the passenger front on my WeatherTechs, however my back mat is completely warped and sticking up on one side from the dogs jumping in/out and it sliding around.

So this is interesting. I ordered a set of the Husky X-Act Contours for the front and rear of my '19 Crewmax based on this thread (and several others) recommending them, and here's what the rear liner looks like. I'm not sure if they changed the design or if they sent the wrong one, but the lack of coverage of the side carpet adjacent to the seat and sill is a deal breaker, seeing as this was the first place my toddler dropped a food pouch. What gives?

Ours has full coverage from side to under the seat. I would ask if they changed the full coverage design

My Husky rear looks just like Niceguy's. I emailed Husky about it and they replied that I had the correct part but they did do a design change. Said the mat portion that covers the stupid on purpose under seat foam was getting hung up the doors or just not laying correctly so they got rid of it. Husky did offer to let me return the mat. I decided to just run it.

Well that’s a bummer. Thanks for the clarification. I had planned on using the Eagle Claws that PaulROahu had recommended to lock ‘em down. Oh well, guess I’ll be returning them now since my young son and dogs dictate that I have full coverage. Anyone know if the Weatherbeaters are the same new design now? If so I guess I’ll need to go Weathertech.

That's really lame. I don't see the point in buying the full coverage ones just for a longer lip that doesn't even go all the way back. I had been waiting to order looks like I missed the boat.

Thanks for posting this, I was literally just about to order the rear Husky...um, not now. I have 2 dogs constantly in/out, this new design simply will not work as I need as much coverage as possible. Guess I will be looking to "un-warp" the Weathertech and will look at using it with the Eagle Klaws in the back. Seems there is a need for someone to manufacture a high quality RUBBER mat that covers the ENTIRE rear floor area.
