2014 Tundra double cab SR5 5.7

Trying to find out what's wrong with my husky Ascend brake controller. When I'm hooked up to my camper I can manually override the brakes and squeeze the slide controller to slow the camper down but when I push the brake pedal my display will show 10% real quickly (no matter where my percentage is set) drop to zero no matter where I put the percentage of breaking control or the sensitivity from one to seven
