Hi there. Saw a few videos with 2024 Platinum's with the HUD and Off Road Package. Was hoping to get one soon but I noticed I can't spec one on Toyota's site with both options.
All the dealers in the NW that have incoming Platinum Off Road's also don't have HUD's. Did Toyota take away that option or am I just dumb?

Mine has the HUD. I have a 2024 Tundra Platinum 6.5 bed, TRD Off Road Package & TRD Lift Kit. I don't know if they all come with it.

I have a 2024 Platinum with TRD OR Package and HUD. Seems like the HUD was spec'd on most all Platinum's I saw on the lot.

Strange you can't configure one on the Toyota website.

Unfortunately what you can spec on the Toyota build website is not always reflective of what the regional distributors will allow in their allocations. I had to go out of my region to find my build with all the options I wanted, which you might consider if you're willing to put in the time searching across the country.

Maybe the HUD becomes standard on the Platinum?

Those Region limitations are dumb. Had the same sort of issue here last Summer with colors. Marketing games.

Just checked my window sticker and the HUD was an added option. It raised the price $600.

what the website allows is not what the region can allocate. any option can be requested in dealer daily allocation reserve screen. the hard part is how long it takes for that region/dealer to get that specific allocation reserve request fulfilled.

it is also HIGHLY dependent on the dealer willing to actually put in a special allocation reserve request. 90-95% of dealers wont even put in the attempt to.

on my reserve request, after 6 months, our was never fulfilled which pushed our request (put in our request in may-2022) from a 22 MY to a 23 MY and even then our dealer got a build that was close but not exact as my reserve request. so we jumped on the close one and went with that. the wife was getting tired of waiting.

There are definitely good deals around here on inventory that has been sitting so I might pull the trigger anyways and just not have a HUD. It's not a huge deal breaker but on a $73k truck it should be an option or included. I might wait till the 2025MY and see if there are any good changes too. First world problem lol.
    Appreciate all the insight though.
