How to squeeze out a couple more inches

    Hi gents, so I'm looking to upgrade my suspension with a good high quality package like the one I've attached from toytech. However, I'd like to get at least 5 maybe even 6 inches to the front and 3 to 4 to the back. With these kits it seems about 3.5" to the front and 1.5" to the rear is maxed out. What would I have to do to achieve the lift I need that's not going to negatively affect ride quality and/or cause squeaking and thumping with these higher quality suspension packages?     Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
    body lift can add some height. Only other way to get that much lift is to buy a different type of lift, the "bracket' type lifts can range from 4 inches on up. Bracket type lifts also may require cutting of the front cross member, so be aware.

    long story short these trucks generally sit happiest with modest lifts. your dreams aren't impossible but they aren't easily satisfied either.
    edit: hit the send button a little quicker than i meant. I'm not entirely sure if they're commercially available but i suspect you're looking for a drop bracket lift.

    Once you start going higher up front the angle of your CV axles become more extreme, which will degrade the axles sooner or snap more easily. So the solution, as others have said, is to install a drop bracket lift (I have a 7" BDS lift) that requires cutting both the front and rear cross member that houses the front differential. The bracket "drops" the front differential lower allowing the CV axles to regain stock angles while getting the extra lift.

    Just to pick your brain, if you're looking for better ride quality, why the Kings? Sure they can be valved, but for ride quality purposes, maybe these might be just for show?

    I'm leaning towards that Shock Surplus logic where they give reviews on suspension based upon real world testing over a course of a few days.

    But to answer you question, others have answered, that lifting that high will require a bracket lift. Most of the folks here I believe will run just coilovers, leaf packs, and shackles for lifts. But Cruzer on the other hand... he's the man you'd want to get in touch with if you're thinking about lifting it HIGH.
