How to put truck in neutral with ignition off

Does anybody know how to put the truck in neutral with the ignition off so it can be pushed? I need to push it to get it onto a lift. I can’t drive it in because the doors are too close to the lift’s uprights making getting out of the truck impossible. When it’s in neutral the ignition won’t turn off and when I get out to push it, it starts buzzing loudly.

 

Turn the ignition to on without pressing the brake?

turn it off in neutral?

 

That didn’t work. Still get message to put it in park before exiting. And still screams at me.

 

Check the manual, I recall some procedure and pulling on something?? That was my old ram

Nvm, it's the old school mode, look to right of shifter lift up the plastic tab,shove a flathead to activate the switch to move the shifter into N

Put it on the lift and crawl out the back window into the bed.

 

So you can put it in neutral if the battery is dead but how do you disengage the electric parking brake
