How to get the 12V pin to be constant power?

2016 Bronze Tundra Limited

Just purchased a Bronze, 2016 Limited to tow our travel trailer and horse trailer. The 7 pin trailer wiring connector works, however the 12V pin is switched (won't work without the ignition being on). Does anyone know how to get the 12V pin to be constant power (on all the time) ??? Need it for the interior lights on the horse trailer, power jack, etc.

Actually the pin is not switched. That is the way it is supposed to work.
As for fixing it, I guess you could run a dedicated line from the battery (fused near the battery) and replace (and cap) the original power line.
