New forum user with three posts put internal Toyota documentation up on the thread. Hopefully the admins can just delete the post and subsequent replies rather than lose the whole thread.

didnt seem like it. He was pointing out to me that I could ask for rental reimbursement. Honestly, other members are way more insulting/snarky/disruptive than what that guy did...but only one of them can cause the forum owner(s) legal problems

If your engine blows up, but Toyota won't let you tell anyone, did it really blow up?

FYI - here are the public documents for the recall that anyone can view - See the 5 Associated Documents for detailed PDFs including the rental reimbursement. https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2023/TOYOTA/TUNDRA/PU%252FEC/4WD#recalls

A bit, there was no value added, no new information provided, it was like groundhogs day with final destination rolled into one, the same few regurgitating what everyone had heard before along with potential outcomes of what could be should an engine fail. Speculation and fabrication.

The reason the other thread was deleted is members were getting nasty again and all the reports. We are not having it. Ya'll can go do that shit on FB or X.

To make everyone happy in Toyota land I propose Toyota to make a V-7 single turbo. And call it Gen 2.75

Sitting at a bar watching young men fail at changing...correct that...not even knowing how to change a tire on a Tesla....

    Priceless.

Walking home is classic. Well done Dad.

Not sure that’s entirely true. I posted a couple pages from the Owners Manual (likely copyrighted) and the “powers that be” confirmed that was OK.

If you think drinking a Blue Moon or anything that you like is not manly...that's says everything about you, not me cupcake. I normally drink whiskey/vodka/tequila straight up. Kinda hard to do at a tap house.

Owners manuals are fine. They come in digital form and hard copy in the glove box.

The issue is posting app screenshots since it changes a lot or copy written repair manuals, Toyota software..etc. Ryan got popped the first time posting Toyota software...just an FYI

Serious question....can we bring the engine failure thread back and just delete the "forbidden" stuff or is that too much work?

I'm sorry sir, we will not and will tell you why (because I don't like being told no without an explanation).

    1) The same thing was posted over and over and over and over....you get the point.

    2) The insults started, the shit talking, tempers flared, and we seen an ugly side of this website that I have not seen before. I'm also on TacomaWorld...so that says something. I don't mind a little shit talking. Hell, we just exchanged a friendly "fuck you" and it is all good. I don't take it personal. It was funny. If you can't talk shit to a staff member without getting the ban hammer (that has limits of course)...wrong website to be on. Well, that's how I see it at least. I argue with people all the time on here. Only bans you see from this guy is COC violations or being a toxic ass. We dumped one today in fact.

    3) This is a place that enthusiasts can talk. You really should be getting all your information from the dealership or Toyota Corp anyway. Get it from the horses mouth per se. This is your only true reliable source for information.
