How to clean behind the head rest on your back window

i can't get behind my 2018 rear headrest on my rear window. Does the head rest pull off? How do you do it
I know it's a stupid question but I can't do it.

they flip down, depress the button underneath the headrest on the base steel posts

 

What flips down? The seats?

 

I'm pretty sure mine slip right out if you adjust the height too far. 21 CM SR5

 

On the left side of the left black grommet there's a button, press it and the headrest will pull up and fold down.

 

That sounds more like it. My back seats have been out most of the time.

 

The headrest flips down.

It's like 930 am now so I'm going to try it today, you said just press the tab by the headrest? I hope that works. I will let you know

You can simply pull it straight up as high as you can then it will fold forward (headrest folds down). The button on the side you have to press to get past detent points in the headrest rods. Hold that button in while pulling up and it will pull right out. Full access to the rear window

 

Wow thanks ,it worked I couldn't understand when you said they fold down( how can head rest fold down) leave it to Toyota. Perfect thanks but next question ? Can the seat gold down too?

 

Negative, they only fold up

Never even thought to clean behind them. Kind of out of sight out of mind. Now I might have to do it.

 

I did and it's very easy. Next question ! Is there a way to fold the back of the rear seat forward?i seen something on YouTube but want to ask you guys first.

I can't remember the last time I cleaned the inside of truck. Probably due for it

 

+1, but hunting season is here and never clean it until the season is over.
