I recently installed a Kenwood Excelon DMX-709S in my first gen, and I still haven’t been able to get it to screen mirror. I have the Aux input, HDMI, and the USB all run, and the Kenwood “Screen Mirroring” app on my Iphone x, but, no luck so far.

    What phone do you have?
Get the proper hdmi cable. Get an Amazon firestick or roku stick. Connect to the hdmi cable. Tether your internet from your phone to the roku or firestick. Stream whatever you want. carplay will not work simultaneously if using hdmi. Must be one or the other. Not both.
