New to the forum, so apologies if this question has already been answered, but how do you adjust the brightness on the 2006 Toyota Tundra? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find the adjustment. My lights are dim.

    Thanks

You can’t find it when you Google 2006 tundra instrument cluster dimmer switch?

There is a circle knob on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Turn it and the dash lights change.
It looks like it should control windshield wipers in a 70s car though.

Welcome and congrats on the new rig. Go to Toyota driver .com (or something like that) register your VIN to see maintenance history and manuals.

In an '03 it looks like the knob on the right...

Thanks y’all. It’s an 06 Toyota Tundra Limited Double Cab. Just had new BFG All Terrains put on it today and black rims. Switched from the stock 16” Toyota Rims to 17” Black. Need to find a leveling kit next

Another quick question, there seems to be a bit of a water leak inside at the top of the driver and passenger side door, where the top handles are. Are the seals notorious to losing their protection?

This thread on cab leaks is in the stickies. I just came across it the other day. It may be helpful.

Since it's a Limited, does it have a Moon Roof ? If so, the moon roof trough drain holes might be blocked ?

Check my build page for pics on possible leaks. More info on proper repairs, too.

Its amazing whenever I put on my ‘Tinfoil’ Hat and try to use an old gheemail and I type in shtuff and send it to myself elsewhere. Suddenly, I get ads scrolling above about what I just emailed about. Give it a try guys. Or, read the noun that became a verb terms and conditions.

It even works on other devices through wifi. GF was searching mattresses on her phone and I was getting matress ads on an app she doesn't even have.

It goes way beyond advertising. The goal is "to know you". Think way back to the time when you were very short. Your mom probably knew what it took to get you to do this or that. She probably used these techniques to shape your core beliefs. Google Facebook and the rest are learning little by little what makes you tick. They control the data feed to you. In 2014 Facebook got caught manipulating news feeds to effect moods of general users. It was a successful experiment. Think about where that leads. They Manipulate the news feed to accomplish a goal. They Manipulate the search results to sell an idea. The hand model is 100% right on this one.

Duckduckgo.com uses the Google search engine but runs the search for you so you don't get any of the just for you content or news feeds in particular orders.

There are numerous utubes you can google but I’m partial to Timmy tool man. He shows how to check the drain lines, location etc in the below video.
