    Hi all,

I am getting some conflicting info from some tires and suspension places. Currently have 2018 Sequioa w/ stock suspension, sherpa roof rack and RTT. As of now I can fit into my garage with about 1 inch clearance.

I am thinking about upgrading to some AT (275/70/18 =33) currently have 275/65/18 = 32 inch. So my understanding is with the new tires I would gain 1 inch in clearance but would that increase my height?

Second question, thinking about getting Bilsteins 6112 for the front and 5100 for the rear. The minimum lift would be 1 inch.

So lets say I get the bilsteins and set the lift to 1 inch + the increase in tires 1 inch (32 inch to 33 inch), does my car

    1. Increase the bottom clearance by 2 inches?
    2. How much of my height clearance would I gain?

Also, has anyone air downed on their tires and notice a drop in height. I am hoping I can get the bilsteins + tires and if needed air down 1 inch to fit into my garage to store my RTT.

    Thanks in advance.

Your height will increase by 1/2 the increase in tire size and in direct relation to your increase in lift height.

A 2” lift with 1” bigger tires = 2.5” overall increase in vehicle height.

Adding an inch of lift, gives you an inch of additional height. Adding an inch of tire only gives you a half inch of additional height.

Ground clearance comes from bigger tires. Lift won't change it. You also only gain half the tire size increase. Going from 32" to 33" you will see 1/2 of increased height because you get a half inch on the bottom of the tire and a half an inch on top.
