I have a standard 8 foot garage opening, that I’d very much like to continue to use, but am concerned with CLEARANCE AFTER A LIFT. I have a 2012 CrewMax with metric 33’s and a 2.5-3” spacer leveling kit currently installed; with gives me about 5” of free space till I rub on the rubber gasket to my open garage door frame. My question is, how tall are other same Generation Tundras with 33” tires and a 6” suspension lift? I’m curious if I ditch the spacers and replace the leveling kit with a 6” full suspension kit, if that’ll push me up in the air only 3-4 inches higher than I am now; giving me just enough elbow room to still fit in my garage. Please, if you’re going to give measurements, please tell me from the highest point in the roof-line. Thank You!!!

People dont run 6 inch lifts and 33s. 33s fit stock so folks that lift a Tundra 6 inches generally run 35-37inch tires.

Also realize that a 6 inch lift is a bracket lift, which usually means cutting the cross member of your truck- something you may not want to do.

33s will look much better on a more mild 2-2.5 lift, will get you the stance of the TRD Pro model and then you can run 33-34 inch tires, be good on garage clearance and still have a good performing and looking truck. For reference here is 2 inches lift in front, 1 inch in back and 33.4 tall tires (275/70-18). I have room for 34-35 inch tires, 295/70 or 285-75-18

33" tires on a 6" lift is an unusual combination. I have 34" tires on a 3.5" lift and I have about 2-3" of clearance going into my garage (80" opening). When I go into parking garages, I need at a minimum of 6'8". You can easily fit 35" tires on a 3" lift.

    Here is mine with 295/60/20:

Don’t do it. Go less lift, bigger tires.

I've got a 7/6 lift on 40s and I'm only at 7'6". I wish I had your garage so that the stupid birds can't poop on my truck.

Please don't run 33s with a 6" lift. At least 37s or larger. 35s fit stock. Don't skip leg day!

To first answer the question honestly.
Every lift company could have small differences in actual lift hight. You would want to ask people that have the lift kit you want what is the hub to fender measurements. Then take that number and subtract your hub to fender measurement to get your answer of lift difference. Not every tire size is the same (True heights are what maters)

Second I would personally go with a 3" or 4" coilover lift/level with shackle's in the rear. Ride quality and flex is the key with comfort. Especially if your sticking with a tire in the small zone of 33". Unless the 6" lift your looking at comes with coil overs it otherwise is basically switching the spacer out for brackets which is pointless in the sense it's the same thing. Also like people have stated it normally involves cutting the sub frame out. Meaning unless a skilled fab shop rebuilds it and welds it or you get another frame. If you decide that the 6"s look funny with out at least 35 or 37s it would no longer fit in the garage. Probably would be cheaper at that to buy larger tires and get a larger door put in then reversing the 6" lift.
