Hey guys, Im 16 and have saved up money in order to lift my tundra, I think i'm going to go with the Old man Emu 612 lift from Toytec. From the research I've done it seems this will get me 2.5 to 3 inches of lift. My current wheel setup is 275-60-20. I understand this alone will probably not enable me to have 35's. Im wondering what my options are to be able to have 35's or if it is too much trouble and should settle for a smaller tire? Thanks in advance!

Plenty of people in 35s and 3 inch lift. Your room choice and offset is what makes the difference.

I’m running 35’s on a 3” lift, you’ll have to get a heat gun to heat up the black plastic on the front bumper, then grab a basketball to gently roll the plastic deeper into the front bumper. Like the guy said about offset plays a big factor in 35’s. I have +18 offset wheels and have to remove the front mud flaps and possibly(more than likely) do a body mount chop like myself.

Like said above, all about wheel offset.

I am running 2.9” up front with bilstein 6112 on highest settings and a 18x9 +18 offset and 35” ridge grapplers.

I had to do the body mount chop, and heat the front plastics

I didn't have a toyota at 16, but I did fold the back seat down a few times.

35" tires on rims with +25 offset will easily fit with a 3" lift.
Just trim or remove a little plastic.

I run 35s on a 3/1 leveling kit and my wheels are a 0 offset. I had to do a body mount chop and get aftermarket upper control arms to get it aligned correctly and not to rub anymore. It really comes down to your wheel offset.

As said in previous posts, offset is the key... I have a 6in Readylift, because i have a 22x12.5 wheel at -44 offset. I had to cut out a lot of plastic and body mount to fit.
