Had a fun weekend doing a little wheeling and heard a loud noise like something fell off. Checked and nothing fell off, kept going. Noticed yesterday that I was getting 2mpg less than usual, torque wasn’t as good, and figured an exhaust clamp came loose. Turns out it did! Was running cats only on the passenger side. Curious how many ugga duggas I should hit the exhaust clamp with or if anyone recommends doing a tack weld on a clamp that can be a welded (would be fine uninstalling if it was welded as opposed to clamped).

Most exhaust clamps are around 50lbs, so that would be 2 ugga duggas...:hattip:

In my experience exhaust clamps are a game of how hard can you tighten to make a good connection without stripping and it flying apart, which I have lost a few times haha.

Exactly what I was trying to avoid lol. Luckily I already had my skid plate off so I didn’t have to wrestle that thing just to fix it.
    Wonderful, thank you!
