How long did it take you to get to 1000?

Just went over Vail pass and hit 1000 miles already. Just got the truck on the 12th! How long did it take you?

 

Bought truck on Aug 23rd, had 1091 miles on Sep 5th. I'm around 3,000 now.

 

Bought my 20 CM Platinum in February a few weeks before COVID shut us down. Got one trip to Telluride. I think I didn't hit 1000 until mid April, now sitting at 5900 miles after two trips to Wyoming and one trip to SLC,UT.

 

i hit 4,200 miles and i bought mine March 7th, 2020

This probably isn't a fair comparison since i rotate routinely through the other vehicles i own. Received my Tundra the end of August, last year. Need to step it up a notch i think on the Tundra instead of the Wrx i love to drive also. At this rate my Tundra will definitely outlive me, can't let that happen.

 

Bought mine in February and close to 2500 miles...but I cheated a bit...I was away for 4 months starting about 2 weeks after I bought it.

 

I average about a 1000miles/week

I put over 500 miles on mine the day I got it. I probably broke 1000 miles within that same week.

 

Bought mine on August 31st. Sitting at 828 miles right now.

 

Got mine on Sept 4th, sitting at 352 miles. I do have a 2006 Corolla as a commuter car. It gets about 700 a week.

 

Shoot, I had 1000 miles in the first 3 weeks. I will have owned it for two years at the end of Nov & I currently have 40,600 miles on it. I have had no issues and I am still running on the first set of 35's (Toyo M/T). I am excellent in regards to maintenance & I still have the dealer do all work in order to ensure that I don't have any issues with my extended warranty.

 

When I got my tundra, i picked it up on Thursday and had 500 miles on it Friday. Saturday I left for Prescott Arizona. I was over 3000 miles the first week i had it.

 

hahaha about a week. I put 14,000 miles on in 3 and a half months

 

WHAT!?!?!?! man your truck just sits there

 

1 week. Average 2500 a month between commuting and fun.

 

On my first truck, the '18. took about two weeks because I had a road trip to Jacksonville. The '20 I got now, I just rolled 10k in 10 months.

 

I picked mine up the 3rd week of May. Getting close to 4000 miles. My daily drive is my 2002 4Runner with 220000 miles and going strong. My Tundra is my retirement present but I won't retire for a few years.

 

Bought my 2020 sport on July 21st and i just hit 1k miles on Oct. 16th taking a camping trip to Maine. My truck sits in the driveway Mon thru Fri. I have a 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 for a company truck, so that is my daily driver. I really wish i drove my Tundra more.

Bought mine 2 days before the skiing trip so it hit more than 1000 miles on the third day. It hit more than 3000 miles on the 10th day.

 

I got mine 6 days ago and I’m at 550

 

I bought my 2020 Tundra around the middle of September 2019 and I have 1656 miles on it now. I put the most of my driving miles on my 2020 Corolla.

 

I can't remember for sure but I think it was a few months. Got the truck at the very start of January and I remember realizing that the break in period was done somewhere around April, if I recall correctly. I don't typically drive a ton but I was also working from home from mid-March onward. At the 6 month service I was at about 2400 miles and currently at around 3700.

 

Bought the 2020 platinum in September and put about 1350 in almost 2 months.

 

Like many others, I purchased my truck just before a long road trip. 4700 miles in the first three weeks.
