I traded in 2018 tundra with 2024 Chevy Silverado rst with 6.2lv8 and rocky ridge package(6inch lifted). And this engine has big recall and I am planning to trade this truck for 2025 tundra limited force max tomorrow morning. But I checked online and it seems some 2024 tundra has recall too and now I am little confused. Any thoughts??

I think you’re going to make a terrible financial decision by getting rid of a 2024 truck and eating all that upfront depreciation. Let them do the recall on your truck and get an extended warranty. You’ll lose far more dumping it now than riding out the depreciation curve.

I tried all the Toyota dealers in my town. And yes they all offered me very low price. And the deal I am getting right now is very tempting and I am barely losing any money. So I am thinking instead of taking risk while waiting for recall fix let’s just go back to Toyota.

I like my TRD Pro so far. Plenty of power.
